New Year in Kamchatka

Every year we organize New Year's winter camp races and we already know the recipe for the best holiday.
On the day of arrival, we will take the group to the Pacific coast — Halaktyr beach with black volcanic sand. Why don't we give our guests a rest upon arrival to Kamchatka? All because of jetlag, jet lag syndrome. Basically, people who live at the other end of the country fly to us, where the difference with Kamchatka in time is 9 hours. Your internal clock will diverge from the time of the Kamchatka time zone, so it is extremely important to adjust on the day of arrival so that, for example, not;fall asleep during the day.
A couple of years ago, we added an educational block to the program so that beginners in freeride could not worry about the level of their riding, and experienced riders remembered the base. The educational block consists of lectures on avalanche safety from our guides, and then you will be able to apply this knowledge in practice when we will practice the skills of finding a person under the snow at the ski base innbsp;the city limits. The rental of avalanche equipment is already included in the cost of the program, you do not need to look for a beeper, a probe and a shovel before the trip, we will give everything on the spot. It is important to remember that freeride is not only skating, but also the danger of falling into an avalanche.
During the New Year holidays in Kamchatka, there are excellent conditions for a ski tour, so according to the program there will be two exits — in the Nachikinsky Pass area with the development of human search skills in avalanche and in Avachinsky Pass area with stunning views of Koryaksky volcanoes (3 456 m) and Avachinsky (2 741 m).
During the ski tour on the Avacha Pass, we do not climb to the very top of the Koryak volcano, but only to a certain height of its slopes. Only trained climbers with special equipment go higher, and we have other goals. During the descent, it will not be possible to look only down — a panorama of snowy mountains opens around, the horizon of the Pacific Ocean is visible in the distance, and the active and slightly smoking Avacha volcano rises right in front of you. The number of ascents and descents depends not only on the level of preparation of the group, but also on the weather conditions, but on average it is about 3-5.
It is during the ski tour that you are left alone with your thoughts, you will be able to sum up the results of the year and enter the new year with a pure mind. This is a certain meditation, which is complemented by incredible views of snow-capped mountains and volcanoes. In addition to the ski tour, there will be a freeride with snowmobile rides in the Vilyuchinsky Pass area again with a view of the volcanoes. A great chance to ride where it is difficult to get by car or walk. A truly wild ride on the edge of the Earth. In a day, you will be able to make up to 8 descents. And after skiing, we stop at hot springs with water temperatures up to 40 °C, where muscles clogged from freeride will relax and recover before the next day of skiing.
And for dessert — helicopter tour with a flight over the volcano crater and landing on the Pacific Ocean. There is no such thing anywhere and you will meet the New Year in a truly unique way. A helicopter is the fastest and most convenient way to see remote locations of the Kamchatka Territory, enjoy winter views from a bird's—eye view.
On December 31, we have planned a ride with Santa Claus and a festive evening with dinner and a party at the guest house. And if you go in the second race, then January 7 there will be the same party, only on the occasion of Christmas. And, of course, we take the whole organization on ourselves. You don't have to think about how many basins of olivier you need to cut, you don't have to stand at the stove all December 31 and Google, how many and where in the city there will be fireworks. Kamchatka cuisine dishes from our chef, sandwiches with delicious Kamchatka red caviar and other delicacies. By the way, the main New Year's fireworks of the Kamchatka Territory will be visible from the windows of the guest house, because the central square of the city is a 10-minute walk away.

The program includes everything — transfers, accommodation, meals, New Year celebrations, guides. Accommodation will, of course, be in our cozy guest houses on the shore of Avacha Bay.
