Helicopter tour
This is a unique one-day combined tour that allows you to admire the beauties of Kamchatka from the air, land and water. You will have a helicopter flight over the Vachkazhets mountain range, drive on a 4×4 through a picturesque birch forest, visit salmon spawning ground on a motor boat and spend an entire hour watching bears from the observation tower on the shores of Lake Nachikinskoye.

4×4 drive to the lake
We will leave Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on 4×4 vehicles in the direction of the lake. The route passes through the picturesque birch forest and Ivan-tea fireweed fields, with the peaks of the Vachkazhets mountain range rising on the background. Travel time is approximately 2.5 hours.
Motorboat excursion
From the waters of Lake Nachikinskoye you will have an opportunity to admire salmon in its habitat at arm’s length. During the spawning period, the lake is filled with bright red sockeye salmon. We will share a fascinating story about the life of these amazing fish with you and you will learn why they return from the ocean to fresh water and why they change colour and shape. The excursion on the lake takes approximately 2-2.5 hours. Because of the abundance of fish, it is highly likely to see a bear fishing on the shore and you will be able to take unique photos and video from a safe distance while in the boat.
Bear watching
Accompanied by an experienced guide, we will go up to observation tower, where we will hide, waiting for the brown inhabitants to appear. Observation towers are perhaps the best way to observe animals in the wild. Bears usually do not keep visitors waiting long and appear within 30-45 minutes. It is important to remain silent and calm during this time, bears can easily be scared away by loud sounds and strong smells. Make sure not to wear perfume or other strong-smelling products on the day of the tour.
Walking excursion and lunch
A delicious lunch in the open air or in a transparent geo-dome, Kamchatka delicacies and, of course, the queen dish of the feast — red caviar. We will then have a walking sightseeing tour, studying the vegetation on the shores of the lake, as well as getting to know West Siberian Laikas, the hunting dog breed that allows you to safely move around the territory of the base and protects it from bears.
Helicopter excursion
Flight on a four-seater Eurocopter Gazelle helicopter that allows for great views from the cockpit. From up above you can admire the beautiful Vachkazhets mountain range, its highest point — a cone-shaped peak resembling a volcano (1,556 m), waterfalls and mountain cirques, as well as Lake Takhkoloch with unusually clear water and, of course, one of the largest spawning grounds in Kamchatka — Lake Nachikinskoye.
Return to the city
The helicopter lands near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Flight time from the heliport to the city centre is about 45 minutes. The tour has two start times: for the first group — 7:00 to 16:00, for the second group — 13:00 to 21:30. The second group travels in the opposite direction: starting with a helicopter flight and returning by on off-road vehicles.

What if my tour has been cancelled?
Payment is made after your application has been confirmed by our manager. Tour cancellation / refund policy:
• If a tour has been cancelled due to weather conditions or technical reasons — 100% refund;
• If a tour has been cancelled at the customer’s request 3 days or less before the tour start date — 40% refund;
• If a tour has been cancelled by the customer less than 1 day before the tour start date — no refund.
