Avachinsky Pass is sandwiched between two active volcanoes — Avachinsky (2,741 m) and Koryaksky (3,456 m). We will get there by snowmobile with a passenger sled. Weather permitting, we will then climb extrusion Mount Camel at the foothills of the two volcanoes. Panoramic views from its peak over our «home» volcanoes, the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Avacha Bay and Vilyuchinsky Volcano are simply mesmerising. After the descent, we will have a delicious lunch.

Departure from the city
Group meeting at the designated location. A 40-minute drive by car on asphalt road to the snowmobile parking lot. Meeting the guides and safety briefing.
Road to Avachinsky Pass
After tour participants have taken their seats in the snowmobile passenger sleds, we will drive for about one hour along the Sukhaya River bed. We will then arrive up at the altitude of 900 m above sea level between two volcanoes — Avachinsky (2,741 m) and Koryaksky (3,456 m).
Climbing Mount Camel
Weather permitting, we will make an easy climb on the Mount Camel. This is a rocky massif, formed as a result of the eruption of the Avachinsky Volcano. Spectacular views of the Avachinsky, Koryaksky and Vilyuchinsky volcanoes, Avacha Bay and the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky open from its peak. The trekking up and down takes approximately two hours.
Lunch
After the climb, we will have a rest and a lunch in a cabin at the tourist base camp.
Return to the city
On snowmobiles we will return to the parking lot and then continue to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky by cars.

Answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How do we reach the destination and where do we leave from?
Participants on snowmobile tours gather at the place agreed on the day before. Means of transport: snowmobile (snowmobile passenger seat or snowmobile passenger sled).
Is it possible to travel with children?
Snowmobile tours are suitable for both adults and children with slight age restrictions:
• Children under 4 years of age are not allowed to join our tours;
• Children between 4 to 6 years of age — upon prior agreement;
• Children between 6 to 12 years of age — ₽4,000/person;
• Children over 12 years of age — full adult price.
What if my tour has been cancelled?
Payment is made after your application has been confirmed by our manager. Tour cancellation / refund policy:
• If a tour has been cancelled due to weather conditions or technical reasons — 100% refund;
• If a tour has been cancelled at the customer’s request 3 days or less before the tour start date — 40% refund;
• If a tour has been cancelled by the customer less than 1 day before the tour start date — no refund.
