Do you remember the Risk board game? Kamchatka was only a part of it (via Kamchatka you could get to Alaska), and everything we knew about the peninsula is that it was the easternmost territory in Asia.
In fact, Kamchatka is a whole world – beautiful, wild and extremely magnetic. The image of Kamchatka is inseparable from fire-spitting volcanoes, soaring mountains, hot geysers and curious fluffy bears (not so friendly as they might seem). But that’s not all. Proximity of the largest water body on Earth – the great Pacific Ocean – gives the sense of freedom and infinity. We are so much lucky to be able to see, share and explore it!
